Payment Policy

Accepted Payment Methods

CeraVe accepts major payment methods supported at checkout, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay when available.

Some payment methods may appear or disappear based on device, browser, cart contents, billing country, fraud review, or Shopify checkout availability. We do not accept cash, checks, money orders, wire transfers, or payment outside the checkout flow.

Currency

All prices and checkout totals are shown in USD unless the checkout page states otherwise.

Sales Tax

Applicable sales tax is calculated automatically at checkout based on the shipping address, taxable items, and current tax rules.

The final tax amount may update if you change the shipping address, shipping method, or cart contents before submitting payment. Any tax adjustments on approved refunds are returned through the original payment method when applicable.

Security & PCI Compliance

Payments are processed through Shopify and supported payment providers. Card data is handled in a PCI DSS compliant via Shopify environment, and we do not store full card numbers on our own systems.

Authorization Holds

Your bank or payment provider may place an authorization hold when an order is submitted. If an order is canceled or declined, the hold release timing is controlled by your financial institution.

Failed Transactions

If a payment fails, verify the billing details, card information, available funds, and any fraud-prevention prompts from your bank. We cannot reserve inventory until payment is authorized.

For your protection, our support team cannot override bank declines or request full card numbers by email. If you believe a payment was declined in error, contact your bank or try another accepted payment method through checkout.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method under our Refund Policy. Bank or provider posting times may vary.
